Update your portfolio images!
For just $65, our mini-session portfolio shoot is the perfect way to freshen up your head and body shots. Enjoy approximately 20 minutes of shoot time in front of up to 5 different coloured backdrops at a dance studio in Canning Vale on Sunday 15th October 2023. You'll have time in between your photos to change and prepare as each dancer is allocated a 1 hour time slot. Receive 5 edited high-resolution images included as part of the package, with the option to purchase extra images afterwards from just $12 each! This shoot focusses on headshots, body shots and audition/casting photos for stage, film and TV portfolios (suitable for dancers aged 10+). There may be time to do limited dance style photos, but it is not a 'dance' shoot. It’s a great idea to do some research before your shoot, do a quick Google search or check out Instagram for some inspiration! Try to have an idea of which poses look great on you and work with the outfits you have. Feel free to bring and show us any images and examples of poses you love. I’ll have heaps of ideas to help you out, but no one knows you better than you. The more prepared you are, the quicker the shoot will run and more images can be taken.

Important Information:

Shoot date is Sunday 15th October, 2023 from 11:30am-2:30pm. We can only have approximately 3 dancers booked into each time slot, so please select a back-up time in the form below.

Shoot location is Studio 24 - 24/3 South Street Canning Vale. There is a small entry door to the right of the foyer.

Suitable for dancers aged 10 & up. All dancers under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian over the age of 18 present at all times.

Please arrive early and prepared.

Shoot time is is approximately 20 minutes, but will be spread out over approximately an hour to allow for changing, makeup touch ups and prep time. There will be other dancers present shooting in between.

Our mini session images will include 'light editing'. Please ensure you have checked your hair and makeup carefully to avoid disappointment. You might like to check some tips and tutorials online for makeup for photo shoots. Try to avoid any shimmer or shiny products.

An invoice will be emailed after your booking form is received. Payment must be made in full as soon as possible to secure your booking. Invoices must be finalised 7 days before the shoot date.

Cancellations made more than 48hrs before shoot appointment will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 48hrs before shoot appointment will not receive a refund. Rescheduling may be possible and is at the discretion of DancePro Photography.

Images may be used for publicity and promotional purposes for DancePro Photography.

Lots of clothing options! There are 5 different colour backdrops, check the sample images on this page to see which colours work best. Bring some plain blacks & whites and then some colour options.

Receiving Your Images:

Proof images will be provided via password-protected galleries.

You will favourite (STAR) the images you would like to have edited. You have 5 images included, extra images are $12 each.

The images will be edited and uploaded to the gallery within 2 weeks. If you select any extra images, the invoice will be sent via email and will need to be finalised before images are released.

You can then download your images in high-resolution and are free to edit, crop and upload your images to social media for non-commercial uses. All images are for personal use only. Use of DancePro media (photos & videos) for promotion/publicity for or in conjunction with a business falls outside of the Personal License purchased. Media cannot be used in any manner that generates an income (this does not include prizes or prize money). Please get in contact to discuss commercial media licenses.
