1. The camera's are horizontal and centred (adjust if necessary)

2. No heads are in the way (move chairs if necessary)

3. The brightness and contrast is good (adjust brightness if needed)

4. Both cameras are in focus and the dancers appear clear (adjust the focus if necessary)

5. Skin tones look realistic and natural (adjust the WB colour temp if necessary)

6. The memory cards are wiped and there is enough space on the camera and ATOMOS

7. Ask for a sound check, check music, microphone levels and silence. Check that our floor mis are on and charged

8. Make a test video and watch it closely on the computer for the above points. Then watch previous videos for consistency & technique

9. The session, section and competitor numbers are ready and correct and read through the programme
